More Sensitive

I just read a insightful article by Russell Simmons on his thoughts of the Mike Vick situation. He was basically saying that we are impressionable by nature, what we're exposed to affects us and the decisions we make so we must raise our level of consiousness so that we're mindful of what's taken into our minds thus affecting the energy/light we emit.

I don't know everything but I know something.

As a society, we have become so pre occupied with self when our main goal should be the welfare of others. Of course you can't help anyone without first helping yourself but we are always growing, we will always be in transition, always changing. We wouldn't know when we're ready to do anything until the opportunity presents itself. How you react to the situation will tell you. That's where your morals and what was most impressionable on you will show.

To raise your level of consiousness first comes with yourself. Understand self and the reason you do things is a major step to moving on to a bigger task... But you can't get there if you don't see and understand that something you're doing is wrong. Being more sensitive doesn't make you a punk, doormat, b*7**, etc. It makes you aware, human.
